"Elect The Dead Symphony" è il primo album dal vivo del frontman dei System Of A Down, Serj Tankian. Il lavoro nasce dalla collaborazione tra Tankian e l'Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra. Gli arrangiamenti orchestrali sono stati realizzati dal compositore John Psathas.

La registrazione è stata realizzata il 16 marzo 2009 al teatro Auckland Town Hall di Auckland, Nuova Zelanda. Tutte le canzoni contenute nell'album sono tratte da Elect The Dead,  comprese le due bonus track Blue e Falling Stars (di quest'ultimo album soltanto The Unthinking Majority e Praise The Lord And Pass The Ammunition non sono state incluse). Inoltre nell'album sono presenti anche due inediti, The Charade e Gate 21 (pubblicata successivamente nel secondo studio album Imperfect Harmonies).

Dell'album esiste anche una versione in DVD con l'intero concerto del 16 marzo 2009.
