"Imperfect Harmonies" è il secondo studio album solista del cantautore Serj Tankian, leader dei System Of A Down.

Nato dalla sperimentazione e dall'unione tra musica sinfonica e rock, l'album trae influenze anche dal jazz e dall'elettronica.
Prima della pubblicazione dell'album, nel mese di giugno 2010, il brano Borders Are... è stato reso disponibile per il download gratuito.

Il primo singolo ufficiale estratto dall'album, invece, è stato Left Of Center.
Questi primi due brani sono stati descritti da Serj come "le canzoni più apertamente politiche dell'album".

Successivamente sul sito ufficiale è stato reso disponibile per l'ascolto il brano Disowned Inc..

Il secondo ed ultimo singolo estratto dall'album è stato Reconstructive Demonstrations.
